DETROIT PISTONS -4 @ MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES :dancefool $75,000
Detroit (18-3, 11-2 away) at Memphis (14-8, 7-4 home) 8:00 pm EST

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) - Although they reached the NBA Finals last season, the Detroit Pistons struggled to score in two games against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Pistons try to extend the best start in franchise history and raise their road record to a league-leading 12-2 when they visit the Grizzlies on Monday.

After winning six straight meetings against Memphis, Detroit lost twice to the Grizzlies last season, scoring just 68 points in their first encounter and 79 in the second.

The Pistons, who have won nine of their last 10 and top the NBA in victory margin (8.8), routed the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday, 103-78, as Chauncey Billups scored 21 points to lead six players in double figures and had 12 assists.

Despite three losses in its last four outings, Memphis is the league's top defensive squad (85.4) and has allowed just two teams to reach the century mark this season.

Mike Miller scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and was among six players in double figures as the Grizzlies snapped a three-game losing streak with Saturday's 91-87 victory over the Phoenix Suns.

Memphis committed just five turnovers and limited the normally explosive Suns to just 38 percent (36-of-96) shooting from the floor.

WASHINGTON WIZARDS @ SEATTLE SUPERSONICS >>>> UNDER 208 $75,000

Washington (9-13, 3-9 away) at Seattle (10-12, 6-7 home) 10:00 pm EST

SEATTLE (Ticker) - The Washington Wizards will be forced to overcome their struggles on the road. Based on early results, that may be difficult.

Losers of five of their last six, the Wizards will play the third of five straight games on the road when they visit the Seattle SuperSonics on Monday.

After a 97-91 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers to open the trek, Washington suffered a 97-92 setback to lowly Portland on Sunday.

Gilbert Arenas scored 29 points but the rest of the Wizards shot 22-of-57 (39 percent) and the club was done in by a pair of former teammates, guards Juan Dixon and Steve Blake, who combined for 34 points.

Seattle has lost four in a row at home, but is coming off a 111-99 rout of the Trail Blazers on Friday, a game it led by 31 points in the first half.

Rashard Lewis scored 20 of his 37 points in the first quarter and Ray Allen added 24 points as the SuperSonics defeated their former coach, Nate McMillan.

Washington has won three of its last four games in Seattle

• Under is 5-1 in the last six meetings.

The Wizards are seeking their fifth straight victory over the SuperSonics, who haven't beaten them since an 88-85 win on Nov. 23, 2003 at Key Arena.

Seattle is hoping to avenge its most lopsided loss of the season, 137-96 on Nov. 11 to Washington. The Wizards had seven players in double figures and recorded their highest point total since a 142-100 victory on April 17, 1994 over the Boston Celtics.
